Vale do Lobo has two challenging courses, The Royal and the Ocean. Both take players through fig trees and fairways to the Atlantic Ocean. The Vale do Lobo courses have hosted the Portuguese Open twice.

Tennis Facilities

Make the most of your vacations to surprise your playing partners. Improve your serve with the help of our tennis instructor.

In the center of our resort, about 300 metres from the hotel, you will find two hard tennis courts.

Within close range, you can also enjoy one of the largest tennis facilities in Portugal, the Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy with ten hard courts, four synthetic grass courts as well as a mini-tennis and paddle tennis court.

If you would like to have a tennis lessons our instructor is available to prepare coaching programme tailor-made for you. Our tennis class are available for all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced players. Lessons can be organized individually as well as in a small group. The tennis coach speaks Portuguese and English.

The Tennis Academy's team of professional coaches is led by Pedro Frazão, who was one of Portugal's best tennis players and is now recognised as the country's top coach, with European and American coaching certificates.
